FC Samartex’s Basic Supervisor, Edmund Ackah, has introduced that the membership commenced their preseason on Monday, July 1, 2024, gearing up for the upcoming 2024/25 CAF Champions League.
The crew’s preseason initiation follows their historic victory within the Ghana Premier League, the place they clinched their maiden title in solely their second top-flight season, securing the chance to signify Ghana within the prestigious CAF Champions League.
Talking on the Ghana Soccer Awards, Ackah emphasised the urgency of their preparations, citing the upcoming fixture on August sixteenth within the Champions League.
He outlined the need of a six to eight-week preseason to adequately prepared the crew for the primary leg of the competitors.
“We’re resuming preseason on the primary of July, Monday. We’re beginning as a result of the subsequent recreation is on the sixteenth of August within the Champions League. So, we can’t wait.
“We’d like a minimal of six weeks, a most of eight weeks to organize for the primary leg. And for that matter, the preseason. So, we’re tenting within the Japanese Area, coaching on the favourite Safari Valley.
