The Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended its Central Regional Chairman, Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, and Assin Central Constituency Secretary, Sadique Broni Yeboah, for a month over anti-party conduct.
This comes after the withdrawal of Nurein Shiabu Migyimah from his place because the social gathering’s Assin Central parliamentary candidate over alleged immoral acts and anti-party conduct.
Mr Migyimah was additionally suspended for six months pending the matter’s adjudication on the regional disciplinary committee.
A letter signed by the Regional Secretary stated the NDC’s Central Regional Purposeful Govt Committee investigated stories of the parliamentary candidate’s behaviour.
His alleged immoral behaviour included accusations of impregnating the spouse of the constituency’s Normal Secretary.
Nonetheless, the NDC Normal Secretary, Fifi Kwetey, after a gathering in Accra, stated the letter that introduced Mr Migyimah’s withdrawal is null and void.
The NDC management subsequently suspended the central regional chairman concerning the letter, citing issues that it violated due course of.

In the meantime, Mr Migyimah has denied the allegations of immoral acts and anti-party conduct in opposition to him.
Talking to the media after the withdrawal, Mr Migyimah was assured that he can be cleared of all allegations after the regional disciplinary committee adjudicated the matter.
He additionally expressed optimism in direction of the 2024 common elections.
