The New Patriotic Celebration (NPP) Flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has emphasised his dedication to a peaceable 2024 normal election.
This comes as issues develop over the rise of inflammatory rhetoric within the political panorama, elevating fears of potential violence.
Talking to the media in Accra on August 25, Dr. Bawumia expressed his concern over the growing use of incendiary language in politics.
In his remarks, Dr. Bawumia talked about that the pursuit of political energy ought to be pushed by the need to enhance the lives of Ghanaians, not by violence or chaos.
“Whereas no person income from violence and chaos. It bears repeating that not a single drop of Ghanaian blood ought to be sacrificed for energy.
“Our celebration is decided to pitch our concepts as now we have at all times carried out and to show our superiority over any and above another celebration can provide,” he stated.
He additionally highlighted the NPP’s dedication to campaigning on concepts and sustaining respectful political engagement.
Dr Bawumia urged these threatening violence to rethink, reminding them that such actions are un-Ghanaian and that the nation’s peace have to be preserved.
