Shakeup at TUC as Bernard Owusu replaces Opoku-Nyarko as chairman



The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has a brand new chief, as Bernard Owusu replaces Alex Opoku-Nyarko as the brand new chairman.

Mr Opoku-Nyarko served within the function for 3 years.

Till he was elected Chairman of TUC, Mr. Owusu was the Nationwide Chairman of the Normal Transport Petroleum Chemical Employees Union (GTPCWU).

Bernard Owusu polled 347 votes to defeat Alex Opoku-Nyarko, who was searching for to increase his tenure.
