UCC honours Asantehene with Doctor of Laws


The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has been honoured with a Physician of Legal guidelines, honoris causa, at a particular congregation on the College of Cape Coast (UCC).

The award is in recognition for his distinguished statesmanship, contribution to training in Ghana, as a purveyor of conventional jurisprudence, advocate of rule of legislation, promoter of peace and stability, visionary and generational thinker, entrepreneur, guardian of tradition and function mannequin.

Apart that, the College Of Cape Coast (UCC) defined the honour conferred on the Asantehene was additionally in recognition of his meritorious and distinguished service to Ghana.

The ceremony was on Thursday, September 5, 2024, on the New Examination Centre (NEC) of the college in Central Area.
